U17: Day 2 Fifa Under 17 World Cup Wrap up

We have witnessed some great attacking football since the beginning of the FIFA Under 17 World Cup. 


A total of 18 goals with 2 coming from set pieces as well as penalties have been scored.

The African representative has done well this far in the tournament. None of them have lost with the defending champions Nigeria beating USA by 2-0, while Guinea held played to a stalemate with England. Mail were unlucky not to emerge victorious aganist Belgium after they dominated almost the entire game. Mail had 26 shots at goals with 15 being off target while Belgium had only 2 shots going wide.

Both Group A to D have complete their first games.

Since the start of the tournament there has being 26 yellow cards, 2 red cards and a total of 174 fouls.
