The Telkom Challenge Cup quarter finals took place this weekend and it was avalanche of goals. Soweto Giants and Tshwane outfits came out victorious and proceeded to the semi finals of the tournament.

Orlando Pirates played Maritzburg United and won 2-0 courtesy of Kermit Erasmus and Mpho Makola’s goals.

Kaizer Chiefs played MP Aces and won 2-1  courtesy of Abraw and Mathoho while Aces goal was scored by Sibusiso Masina.

Supersport United, New Zealand Striker Jeremy Brockie scored a brace after Kingston Nkatha put the Tshwane outfit in the lead to make it 3 for Matsatsantsa A Pitori before Golden Arrows were awarded a consolation goal through Chris Katjiukua  late goal.

Free State Stars entertained Mamelodi Sundowns and were 3-1 down in the first half before Sundowns came back strongly in the second half and score 3 more to make it 6-1

A draw took place right after the Stars and Sunsdowns game: Both semi-finals will be played on the weekend of 7 November 2015
