PSL : Will Kaizer Chiefs offer Morgan Gould a new contract?
Kaizer Chiefs defender, Morgan Gould could be a surprise name on the list of players set to exit Amakhosi at the end of the season.
The Soweto born defender hasn’t seen much action this year and his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Gould’s business manager Glyn Binkin has confirmed that the Naturena based club has not indicated on whether to keep the once most promising defender at the club and are yet to sit and negotiate a new deal for the tall defender.
The player would be a free agent at the end of June and will be free to join any club.
The chances of him getting a new deal are very slim at this point considering he is always on the stands due to injuries.
The player has only made only managed to play ten games in all competitions this season and been in an out of the team due to injuries since signing from SuperSport United in 2012.
The player signed from Supersport with an injury and Amakhosi faithful hoped he would be their defense problem solver.
The player enjoyed his football career at Matsatsantsa-A-Pitori after signing from Jomo Cosmos.
The player has also enjoyed Bafana Bafana action and has 27 international caps under his name.
He played 19 international friendlies, five Africa Cup of Nations and three World Cup qualifiers matches for the South Africa.
Will Chiefs extend his stay at Naturena or will Gavin Hunt sign the defender considering he enjoyed himself under the current BidVest Wits coach.
Gavin has already signed two players Daine Klate and Bongani Khumalo who played alongside Gould at United and we’re instrumental at the success of the club under his guidance.
