William Twala put pen to paper yesterday as he signed for Kaizer Chiefs from Chippa United. The player joined Chippa from Orlando Pirates in July 2014 transfer window.

The tale of Orlando Pirates players joining their arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs has always been a success story for Amakhosi. The likes of Jimmy Tau and Arthur Zwane.

When Pirates off loaded Arthur Zwane, the speedy winger was set to have hit the bottom of his career but he resurrected his career at Amakhosi after signing from Tembisa Classic.

He became the darling of Kaizer Chiefs as he was part of a winning team combination. He went on to win three trophies during “Operation Vat Alles” in 2000/01 in his debut season with Amakhosi. The player was part of the National Team from 2000–2005 and was capped with 9 caps under his name.
