Our premier league chairmen and club owners have started believing in local coaches, as we saw Chloorkop side reigning Absa premiership champions and CAF semi-finalist Mamelodi Sundowns first introduced the ever hard working, very humble and dedicated coach Rulani Mlungisi Mokwena.

Mokwena appointment came as a surprise to many because no one has ever seen him before on top-flight football but the management of Mamelodi sundowns saw it important to mix youth and experience not on players but also in their technical team.

By so doing the team saw no regret because they play the most attractive football that brings good result to the team and with the influential input by coach Rulani Mokwena at the bench one can tell that future looks bright for him.

The introduction of young and passionate coaches into premier soccer league by club owners makes the league more exciting as most teams play attractive football that lures supporters to the stadiums and others watch on televisions.

Coaches introduced have their own playing philosophy that is more easy and understandable to players , young and old they gel well in displaying good football on the field, as we saw the product late Ted Dimitru( “May his soul rest in peace” )

The late Ted Dimitru was known to be a true ambassador of  maximal football institute

Recently we saw Orlando Pirates brought in another brilliant coach who once coached, Sipho Dlangalala who coached Als Puk Tawana Football Club, was first seen on the bench during the Carling Black Label Cup.

Als Puk Tawana has introduced many players in the past and one of them is newly signed at Orlando pirates attacking midfielder Mahlatse Makudubela
