PSL : Platinum stars unleash new players and issues names of released players
Rustenburg Outfit Platinum stars officially unveiled new players and as well announced players beeing released
General Manager Mr Masingiza said ” In the past three years as the academy we have been in the process to develop young players to the senior team and that have been the process that coach Cavin been steering this ship to be at the best”
Players that have been released by the club are as follows : Sibusiso Radebe, Vincent Khumalo, Letladi Madubanya, Nicholas Mlambo, Robin Ngalande, Bongi Ntuli, Nduduzi Nyanda, Eleazar Rodgers, Tlou Segolela, Thabiso Semenya, Bouna Coundoul and Emmanuel Mathias.
The new players that are brought in to the side are Henrico Botes, Steven Hoffman, Thobani Gunene, Thato Mphahlele, Benson Sshilongo as well as graduates from the academy are Mlilo Sphamandla, Katlego Khunou, Sphiwe Mguni, Tsekiso Lesebane, Nhlakaduma Dumo, Kamogelo Mathe and Sipho Senne.
Players promoted from the academy are all under 20 and 95% local boys.
coach Cavin says ” We have to play entertain football to get supporters into the stadium and all of them promoted finished school and their more ready and focused in the game”
“Media would say why we let Eleazar Rodgers go after he has done so well for us but the time we started to negotiate we were late as the deal was already done and we wish him good luck at Bidvest Wits ” says General manager Mr Masingiza
” As we platinum stars we are preparing more to compete at confederation cup and will do well in representing the club and the country to do best, there a player that we are busy with and monitoring in Botswana and we might bring him on board in bolstering our squad ” those are words from Mr Masingiza
“We also lost our target Thabo Monyamane to Supersport United” he added
” My ambition as a coach, when you look at the club and the situation right now from previous seasons we would fight very hard to improve from our previous log standing and top8 is our main target and progressively would need more people to our games and on field to play competive football with goals”
“Marketing purpose we do invest a lot in getting supporters to our games and we are really impressed with response to be at the stadium..and wil never stop marketing our supporters to get numbers to stadium ”
” From my point of view i think we have to play week in week out and have less break , that willbe more competitive games” said Cavin Johnson
