PSL: Collins Mbesuma and Eddie Ngalo heading to Highlands Park
Highlands Park solidifies their squad ahead of their 2016/17 season campaign
The newly promoted PSL Highlands Park has been busy in the transfer market and it seems like they are chasing players with PSL experience.
It’s believed that yesterday the Tembisa outfit have acquired (signed and sealed) the services of former Black Aces and PSL Top goal scorer Collins Mbesuma and Eddie Ngalo.
Mbesuma has turned down a move back to his former club Golden Arrows as well as Bloemfontein Celtic.
Eddie Ngalo was also on the wanted list of Golden Arrows
While at Aces Mbesuma replaced Ngalo as a captain.
Its believed that Mbesuma opted to stay in Gauteng due to family commitments so any offers outside the province he rejected.
Highlands Parks are also chasing the signature of Bloemfontein Celtic’s Thabang Matuka, Vuyisile Ntombayithethi of University of Pretoria, Jackson Mabokgwane and Limbikani Mzava of Black Aces.
Hghlands Park are belived to be chasing Glasgow Rangers target Ugandan midfielder Khalid Aucho.
But they seems to be problems with Aucho and Rangers deal as his agent and him have made a uturn in saying he could could join Aberdeen.
It turns out that Rangers only handed him a trial and not a straight contract.
It remains to be seen if the 22-year-old midfield talent who plays for Gor Mahia’s club will choose the Highlands Park over other offers.
The Ugandan international has been compared to former Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Former Orlando Pirates and Malawian midfielder, Joseph Kamwendo who currently plays for club, Liga Desportiva de Maputo is believed to be in discussion but its believed that the price tag is too high.
Highlands will announce all their new signings on next week.
