The Brazilians are in the driving seat in the ABSA Premiership Log and stand a good chance of clinching the league.

They booked their place in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Knockout Challenge this weekend as they defeated Mbombela United 3-1 and have already bagged the Telkom Knockout Cup  this season. The club known as the Brazilians stand a good chance of winning a Treble as they looking to emulate Orlando Pirates which was the last team to win the Treble in South Africa.

They have a strong and very competitive side that can achieve that. The likes of Billiat, Dolly, Castro, Onyango, Ngele, Mphahlele, Kekana and Modise have the qualities to lead the team to Treble glory.

Johannesburg outfit, BidVest Wits are anxiously waiting for Sundowns to slip up and make their way in to win a double. They are second on the ABSA Premiership Log trailing the Brazilians by four points. They have also qualified for the Nedbank Knockout Challenge quarterfinals after beating Magezi 6-0 with Daine Klate scoring four goals in the encounter. The Students as they are affectionately known are a force to be reckoned this season and have a good coach, good technical team and a good team.

The side led by former SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt who has turned things around for the side. The club is doing well and having a great season under the new coach and the players brought in are proving their worth. The likes of Bafana Bafana defender Thulani Hlatshwayo, Daine Klate, Pelembe, Hlanti and Sibusiso Khumalo have brought stability and a winning momentum and looks set to upset the Brazilians come the end of the season.

Both clubs coaches have expressed, that they are taking every game as it comes and are not looking much winning the treble or double. They expressed that they need to get their charges mentally focused and make the best of the last seven games remaining in the league and will shift their minds to the cup tournaments.
