Real Madrid scored 10 against Rayo Vallecano in a La Liga match played at Santiago Bernabeu. The visitors gave away an early goal that saw Danilo score in 3 minutes of the game before Rayo equalized through Antonio Amaya Carazo in the 10th minutes to level matters. Jozabed Sanchez Ruiz  put the visitors in the lead 2 minutes. Roberto Roman Triguero saw red in the 14th minute to give Madrid an extra man against

Real Madrid came back strongly afterwards to level matters in the 25th minutes through Gareth Bale. Rayo then saw another player, Jose Raul Baena Urdiales receive a yellow card for the second time to receive marching orders before Cristiano Ronaldo netted from a penalty to put the home side 3 – 2 in the lead. Bale scored his second goal in the 41st minute to put the home side 4 – 2  before Karin Benzema increased the tally to 5 – 2  before half time.

Los Blancos came strong in the second half to score 5 more through Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema to hand Madrid a 10 – 2 score against Rayo. Bale scored 4, Cristiano 2, Benzema 3 and Danilo 1.

This is one of the highest scores in Madrid history and their highest score this season.
