KaziFootball : Soweto All Stars reign over rivals Kenza Football Club

Soweto All Stars keep their dominance over Kenza Football Club (KFC) after winning the Carling Black Label curtain raisers 3-0 with Schneider.

The game started in a balance and both sides showed winning mentality from the onset.

KFC were unluck in the 20th minutes when the referee didn’t award them a legit penalty after Thato also know as Mboma was brought down in the penalty box.

Soweto All Stars drew first blood after a nice interchange and scored through a perfect pass from Mthuthuzeli “Ballack” Nozibele found Sabo “Schneider” Manikela unmarked to tap into lead the Soweto All Stars.

KFC should have equalized but crowd favorite Kgotso “Professor” Molefe penalty went wide. Schneider doubled his tally before halftime.

The second half started with a tempo and KFC coach Bashin brought in KFC crowd favorites Neo “Shuffle” Marks before introducing Karabo “Shakes”  Mkhabela.

The substitutes didn’t disappoint as they kept the ball possession and the crowd was entertained with flair and kasi football show boating.

That increased the tempo of the game and both sides started showing what has made them households in Soweto.

Schneider grabbed his 3rd goal of the match and proved too much for their rivals.

All Stars brought in Innocent “Drogba” Nemakondeni and Mosquito to entertain the masses of crowd.

The crowd was entertained and at the end of the game, the players were met with a large number of crowd flooding the pitch to applaud their heroes.

All Stars coach Kwazi, expressed that they are happy with the outcome of the game and they had prepared quite well ahead of the game.

He stated that he rested some of his best players as they needed goals but glad that his troops came out victorious.

KFC coach Bashin, expressed that football was the winner and they were just unlucky to go to the break 2-0 down.

He furthermore stated that they played their culture football and that the score wasn’t a true reflection of the game.

Karabo “Shakes” Mkhabela stated that he was disappointed at the result but they will take lessons from the game.

Mthuthuzeli “Ballack” Nozibele, stated that they played according to the coaches instructions and happy they won convincingly.
