Confederation Cup final tickets are now for sale
Tickets for the eagerly anticipated CAF Confederations Cup clash between Orlando Pirates and Etoile Sahel of Tunisia, have gone on sale.
All tickets are available from Computicket and Shoprite Checkers outlets nationwide.
The cost of a ticket for general admission for the first leg which will be set at R80 while juveniles will be charged R10.
Speaking on the price hike from R40 to R80, club Administrative Officer Floyd Mbele said:
“The first thing I can confirm is that the final will not be moved. We will be playing the final at Orlando Stadium.
“As for the pricing of the tickets, we will adopt the same approach as we have done in previous high category matches played at the venue. The cost of R80 for general admission is the same amount we charged when we played Kaizer Chiefs a few seasons ago and again in 2013 when we hosted Al Ahly in the Champions League final.”
“The final is a premium product and so it has higher associated costs of running the event”
The Mighty Buccaneers who are participating in their second final in three years, will be looking to improve on their 2013 CAF Champions League runners up by claiming gold in their first ever Confederations Cup final showing.
Pirates booked their final berth following their heroics a fortnight ago, where they came from two goals down to defeat Egyptian giants Al Ahly 4-3 in front of their home supporters. Meanwhile, Etoile Sahel booked their slot at the expense of eventual Group B winners Zamalek 5-4 on aggregate.
