Usuthu hopes for PSL’s return on youth
As AmaZulu are preparing to battle it out in the National First Division and it will be interesting to see some of the young players getting an opportunity to shine.
These are the four key young players that are expected steal the lime light for Usuthu.Tapelo Nyongo- Nyongo featured towards the end of the season for Usuthu and he showed lot of character. The young centre defender showed more responsibility at the back and coach Steve Barker was impressed with him.
Tshepo Liphoko – The South Africa Under 20 player has been one of Usuthu’s success stories. His experience from the South African junior teams will come in handy when AmaZulu aims for a straight promotion back to the PSL.
Thabiso Dlamini – The former Durban Warriors player who impressed the first team management last season which saw him winning a contract will also come in handy. Also having said that he is still willing to learn and grow in the club. Dlamini will be a key player.
Siyabonga Mngoma – Despite not getting much game time last season Mngoma is one of the players that are expected to showcase his talent in the NFD. It will be remembered that he made a name for himself in the very same league whilst with University of Pretoria. Mngoma is competing with goalkeepers Energy Murambadoro
