TransferNews : Aubameyang: I don’t want to go to Arsenal

The recently crowned African Player of the Year Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken about his Arsenal move
The Gabonese, 26, had been linked with a (rather fanciful) move to the Emirates during this window with some reports linking Arsenal with a £44million bid.
But Aubameyang, who was named African Player of the Year on Thursday night, put an end to the gossip with a blunt response when asked about joining Arsene Wenger’s team
“Let me say this first: I am not going to Arsenal,” he said at the award ceremony.
“Dortmund is my club and I am not leaving soon.”
The Dortmund striker has been in exceptional form this season, scoring 24 goals in 23 appearances.

And his performances have seen him linked with a number of big clubs, including Arsenal.
But the Gabon striker has dashed Gunners’ fans hopes by insisting he has no interest in moving to north London.
The striker beat four-time winner Yaya Toure to the award, while Swansea City forward Andre Ayew came third.
“I am not usually an emotional person but to win this award, with players like Yaya and Dede [Ayew], is an important moment for me,” he added.
“I don’t usually cry, but this has made me cry.”
