SASFA : Western Cape wrap up the copa coca cola regional phase

13076587_724407634363387_5923323760059160132_nThe 23rd of April 2016 will saw the last 18 schools battling it out for a place in the Provincial Finals.

Western Cape has grown in the number of school participating in this tournament, the year 2015 had thirty two (32) schools playing in this phase of the tournament and in 2016 we have seen eighty (80) that have played so far and with the last 18 it will bring to a total of 98 schools in the Western Cape alone.

“Developing Champions remains our core and with the numbers growing in the Western Cape like they are growing now,

we will have more players like Mandla Masango and Andile Jali in this Province, we catch them young” said Mandla Mazibuko the President of South African Schools Football Association.

This brings different types of school playing in this tournament, Private schools, Rural Schools and former model C schools. “SASFA is not only increasing in numbers, also in touching the lives of any south African learner who wants to play football” added Mazibuko

Erica Park Soccer field will casme alive on Saturday the 23rd of April 2016 when the “KINGS” Regional Phase were being decided.

It was all about great skill, sharpness, tact, and who can place the ball at the back of the net more than anything.

Goals, Goals and more goals were scored in the Western Cape. The games will kicked off at 08:00
