SAFA: Sol Plaatjies Local Football rewards its members

Sol Plaatjie Local Football Association under Frances Baard SAFA region held it’s annual awards for 2017 end of the season at Mayibuye Centre

Player’s parents were also present at the event in showing support and care to their kids. That shows that there’s good relation between parents, players and coaches as well as Executive committee of Sol Plaatjie Local Football in building the community of Galeshewe and that also shows that kid’s future looks bright under the guidance of those two pillars “Ntime o mphele ngwana”

They have ran their race and have to plough back in giving much anticipated support and care to the future of South African Football.

In attendance there was Mr G. Burgess who gave in words of wisdom to the parents, kids and also shared the importance of Local football.

“As Sol Plaatjie local football football our main objective is to development football in the region, as you can see we have quiet lot of youngsters that are enjoying the game and we hope and pray we will be able to extend our league”

“This is our third season having this award ceremony and would like to wish all the winners all of the best”

“Those who didn’t make it please don’t give up as all can’t be looser nor winners and as the Local Football were are happy as those award ceremony grown strength to strength”

“It will only grew better with support of business people assisting in building community by investing in this kids” concludes Sol Plaatjie Local Football Association representative Mr G. Burgess

Thabo Namisa programme director of the day, who was then Elite league cordinator for Sol Plaatjie Local Football Association who were represented by their under 12, 13 and 15 elite boys in October tournament that was held in Port Elizabeth this year.

The most effective and active Local football in kimberley, Galeshewe have the development structure which have divisions from under 11, 13,15,17 and 19..

This divisions were rewarded for their 2017 season and winners of the day were Tshwaragano All Stars FC as under 11 runners up and got silver medals while gold went to Golden Junior City FC,

Under 13 division runners up Dalton Brothers FC and Hope United FC got gold

Under 15 division awards, Benfica United FC got silver and Tshwaragano All Stars FC got gold.

Their second award of the day which made them the best teams in Sol Plaatjie local football association joining the likes of Kimberly boys high FC who won silver in the under 17 and 19 division respectfully followed by most Inspirational and Ambitious side Hope United FC who clinched goal in three divisions that is under 11,13 and 19

Sechaba Gaseitsiwe an under 11 boy who won top goal scorer award said ” Am so happy for this award, thanks to my coach and my teammates and also the support i got from my mom”

Sol Plaatjie Local Football Association says they feels neglected by their region as if their not members in good standing and together with parents support in developing kids they won’t lose focus in grooming their boys in becoming the best in future as none of region honoured the invitation
