Rugby : Relebohile Thato a sensational rugby player
Sensational Relebohile Thato from Kanana, Orkney in NorthWest Province has never been shy about showing love and passion in Women.
She plays for Leopards, it’s an Inter-Provincial League B-Division and here interest started when she was only a small child at age of 8.
She was more into sports and has done well where she was a participant, though, height seems a challenge to her as too short but she never gives up.
Then she tried rugby ever since it’s been fun and loving it, as started playing it since 2008 to date and still find height as a challenge to her but not willing to throw a towel.
Coming against big girls on the field motivates her and keeps her focused.
” I got huge support from my family and friends, also since joining rugby my lifestyle changed alot and am happy because its healthy happy life that i would encourage up and coming youth out there to get involved in various sporting codes that they love and enjoy with support from my parents” say Relebohile
Her goals is to empower young women in the NorthWest province to be sports women also, have a healthy lifestyle.
She hasn’t received any honours, but managing under 16girls and under 18’s as coach, also grateful with Boksmart courses that helped her to help those who didn’t know rugby.
My message to women out there is Rugby, is not only for men.
“You struck a woman, you struck a rock “that slogan should mean something to all women out there and big up all to our Springbok ladies they making SA proud..conclude Relebohile
