Bidvest Wits triumphed 2 – 1 over Amakhosi in the first league game of the ABSA Premiership 2016/17 season.

The Student scored a goal in the 33rd minutes through an Elias Pelembe header that put them ahead.

Wits controlled the game and look good every time they went forward.
