PSL : Sold! Aces Now Belongs To Comitis
Former Ajax Cape Town boss John Comitis has confirmed that he has bought Mpumalanga Black Aces, with relocation to Cape Town expected in the future.
The Comitis buyout has been approved by the PSL, paving the way for the club to be moved to Cape Town, however, that can only happen at the start of the 2017/18 season at the earliest.
NSL rules state that clubs that change owners have to remain at its current location unless written permission for a move is granted by the PSL Executive Committee, upon which Comitis still sits.

“Yes, I have purchased the club [Black Aces]. There are no final decisions yet as to what I will do, I have much to consider and will only do so on my return to the country. The PSL has already sanctioned the deal,” Comitis told IOL.
Comitis, who is currently in New York, is expected to move the team from Mpumalanga to Cape Town so that the Western Cape has another PSL team.
“It’s a necessity for the abundance of talented young Cape players to have something to aim at. The more PSL clubs we have, the more opportunities there are for youngsters to play in the top-flight, and thereby have the chance to make it in Europe,” he also said recently.
