Ajax Cape Town should have scored at least three goals but great defending and goal keeping kept Pirates in the game

Ajax Cape Town dominated the ball possession as well as bossed the midfielder but it was Tendai Ndoro who make the difference

Felipe Ovono was dropped from the first 18 line up and he was replaced by Mhlongo in goals

Justice Tshabalala made his PSL debut in place of Ayanda Gcaba who didn’t make the day squad either as he partnered Gyimah in the heart of Pirates defence

Bernard Morrison returned from injury to take his place in the Buccaneers starting line-up

While on the Ajax Cape Town Side Rivaldo Coetzee returned from his injury problems and starts for Ajax.

The first five minutes saw Ajax Cape Town pinning Pirates in their own half, with their winger delivering crosses trying to locate Paulse

Gyimah picked up a knock on the face from Losper and the center back had to receive treatment

On the 10th minute Tendai Ndoro was caught offside when Orlando Pirates tried to a counter attack

The game started opening up with Morrison and Rakhale started spearhead Pirates attack and Ajax using Paulse as the point of reference

The first test of the night for Mhlongo came on the 12th minute from Losper after nice neat knock down from Paulse but it was easily dealt with by the Pirates keeper

On the 17th minute Paulse should have scored when a great run on the left by Mosadi but he ballooned the ball over the bar

Ajax kept on knocking and bossed the middle of park but a shot from outside the box by Isaac earned them a corner

From the resulted corner Oupa Manyisa cleared the ball on the line from Pietersen attempted

Happy Jele picked up his second yellow of the season after the referee adjust his tackle on Mzwakali to be dangerous

Mosadi tried to catch the Pirates keeper unaware as Ajax kept on finding loopholes in the Pirates defence but the attempt hit the side netting on the 25th minutes

Morrison had a chance two minutes later after great play and delivery from Oupa Manyisa but his attempt went over the bar

Ajax were back in the Pirates box a minute later but Losper long range attempt sailed over the bar

Mobarah had the touch task of marking Paulse but the tall lanky striker won all most all battles and Mhlongo had to rescue Pirates in the 31 and 32 minute

Oupa Manyisa broke on the left but his layoff was easily cleared by Lebusa

Tendai Ndoro capitalised on some poor goal keeping and defence from Ajax after a great layoff to make it Pirates 1-0 Ajax

Two minutes later Manyisa dished off a brilliant pass to Tendai Ndoro and the Zimbabwean Striker grabbed his brace, Ajax 0 – 2 Pirates

The brace by Ndoro was the fastest one this season as the striker has now scored five goals

Ajax kept on probing but composure let them down

Gyimah earned himself a yellow card after a nasty challenge

With a minute remaining in the first half Losper tried a long shot but Mhlongo handled it well
