PSL : Orlando Pirates camping at Free State Stars Headquarters

Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Bradley Carnell as Assistant Coach.

The 39-year old joins the Club with immediate effect having agreed on a three-year deal.

Carnell, who is a former Bafana international and assistant coach of Free State Stars, and has previously worked with the University of Johannesburg’s Varsity Cup football team, will be welcomed to the rest of the squad today.

Carnell becomes the fourth person in a space of two days to join the Buccaneers from Free State Stars

Defender Justice Chabalala, Winger Sello Japhta and Striker Ayanda Nkosi were scooped yesterday.

Orlando Pirates are not new at invading Free State Stars, previous signings that they did from Ea lla Koto include Thabo Matlaba, Ayanda Gcaba and Mpho Makola just to mention a few.

The last time the Buccanners invaded Free State Stars they won the league so it remains to be seen if this will be case this season

The assistant coach position was vacant after Tebogo Moloi was put on special leave to sort out his personal issue.

It remains to be seen if Moloi will be brought in as the second assistant coach or redeployed to the Junior ranks
