PSL : Masandawana Star out for six months

PSL : Masandawana Star out for six months

Mamelodi Sundowns Mzikayise Mashaba will be out of action indefinitely after picking up an injury that could rule him out of action for some months

Born in Johannesburg, Mashaba(28) previously played club football for Highlands Park, Platinum Stars, Free State Stars and Bidvest Wits

The former Free State Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns defender sustained an injury that resulted in his left leg putting him on crutches.

The player will be in rehabilitation to get him back into action.

The player who was set for move in the transfer window missed out on a move away from Masandawana as he is nursing his injury.

It was speculated that Kaizer Chiefs were contemplating a swap deal that could see Mzikayise Mashaba heading to there direction but that was put off the table

He was a possible transfer target to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.

The Tembisa born player has seen little action since joining the star studded club and a move to other PSL clubs would have been a good move for him as he is looking for more game time.

The player is set for return sometime in January according to a source at the club
