PSL : Letsholonyane joins Matsatsantsa on a two-year deal
SuperSport United is delighted to announce the signing of Reneilwe Letsholonyane from Kaizer Chiefs on free transfer.
The 33-year-old midfielder made 183 appearances over the past eight seasons for AmaKhosi and has won an impressive 50 caps for Bafana Bafana.
“I am thrilled to be a part of SuperSport United,” said Letsholonyane. “I know the coach from my time at Chiefs and I am looking forward to working with him again here.
“SuperSport has shown that they are a very professional club that look after their players and are always competitive in the cups and a team who are very tough to beat. I am also looking forward to playing in Africa in the Confederations Cup.”
Letsholonyane, a former Bafana international, has previously spent time at Jomo Cosmos, where he made his name with 70 appearances, scoring seven goals along the way.
He joined Ezenkosi from PJ Stars in 2006 where he made 49 starts after working his way up through the lower divisions with spells at the likes of Dangerous Darkies United and Hellenic FC.
