PSL : Kaizer Chiefs grind 3 points against stubborn Bidvest Wits
Kaizer Chiefs got their ABSA PSL challenge back on the road with a 2-1 win over Bidvest Wits in Cape Town on Saturday night.
It was Bidvest Wits that got off like a house on fire with Mahlambi giving Masilela a touch time. In the 9th minutes he shot wide after some great foot work.
Kaizer Chiefs took the lead on teh 18th minute after Camaldine Abraw was brought down by Bhazera in the box, Katsande stepped up to convert from the penalty spot.
Klate levelled affairs three minutes later in simple style after latching on to a long goal kick from Josephs. The two are know for this type of goals from their days at Pirates.
Man of the Match Lorenzo Gordinho scored a 73rd minute winner after Wits failed to clear the ball from a corner
The win saw Chiefs move within five points of Wits after 12 games, and also helped ease the disappointment of their second successive cup final defeat of the season three days ago. Should Sundowns win tomorrow they will replace Wits at the top of the log.
