PSL : Joseph Molangoane could still join Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs could still land their target Joseph Molangone if negotiations Chippa United over a settlement fee is agreed.
Chippa and Molangoane’s camp are negotiating a settlement fee for the player to get his clearance from the club.
Joseph Molangoane has been in a contractual dispute with Chippa since the end of last season after the Port Elizabeth club suspected that he might have signed a pre-contract with Chiefs.
He made headlines in May when he was chased away from the Chippa dressing-room ahead of their game against Amakhosi at FNB after it emerged he had signed the pre-contract.
Molangoane then lodged a complaint with the Premier Soccer League’s Dispute Resolution Chamber and the seating was today.
Molangoane lost the case at the DRC and faced a possibility of been out of the game for six months
Immediately after that Chippa and Molangoane’s camp have agreed to settle the matter out of court.
Its believed that negotiations have been going on behind closed doors for the most part of the day to see the move happen
Molangoane trained with Chiefs for a while last month but has since left.
