PSL : Bloemfontein Celtics Supporters want to buy Shares in the Club

Bloemfontein Celtic supporters in a drive to secure Celtic Shares 


After the Celtic Chairman Max Tshabalala reviled that the club has received two offer to buy the club but none of them are from the Free State province, the supporters have made a quick move to buy shares from the team to secure the future of the team.

This will be the forth time the club exchanges hands.

Bloemfontein Celtic Supporters will try to raise money to buy shares from the new owner as they can’t afford the asking price which is believed to be just under 100 Million rand.

Its not clear where the offers comes from in terms of names and provinces but speculation has it that one offer is from Kwazulu Natal Province.

As well if the team will relocate once its sold.

Following Clinton Larsen’s resignation in November, after a disagreement with Management. The team management wanted him to be assisted by Duncan Lechesa instead of Lehlohonolo Seema in his technical team, Celtic fans have been visibly unhappy with the club’s leadership.

During the transfer window some of the experienced players like Musa Bilankulu, Tumelo Mogapi and Hellings Mhango were allowed to leave the club. Mhango was released after the club learnt that he had signed a pre-contract with Bidvest Wits.

The Supporters are consent that the team is selling players but now buying any, as well some fans feel Serame Letsoaka should be fired with immediate effect.

Following the scenes of violent conduct by the fans in their game with Orlando Pirates on the weekend as a section of Celtic fans caused trouble at the Dr Molemela Stadium, as they blocked the way for players and prevented them from exiting the match venue the normal way, Tshabalala has announced that he is selling Celtic.

The Supporters have taken a leave out of foreign teams books where Supporters have shares in the team.

“We want to secure the future of the team, possibilities are high that we could lose the team to another province we can’t all that to happen” said one supporter

“We remember the Premier’s Ace Magashula’s statement last year  when he said  ‘we will help Bloemfontein Celtic fans to buy shares’ ”

Bloemfontein Celtic has scheduled a Supporters’ General Meeting to inform the club’s supporters about the latest developments in the team. After the club’s presentation, supporters will get the opportunity to give input and also ask question
