Njenje ” We will make changes” |
After dull draw against Phokeng based side Platinum Stars on Wednesday, game which was attended by 4644 supporters entertained by draw.
Orlando Pirates coach Augusto “Njenje” Palacious says his worrying factor at the club is goals that are not coming and he thinks players had to be patience on the box they must not rush the ball at all.
“Look we had clear cut chances and failed to convert, that worries me alot and on the game against Platinum Stars, Manyisa and Makola played very well worked hard for the team which am happy with but upfront we rush the ball too much and by so doing we will continue struggling with goals, we conceded silly goals against Baroka, Highlandspark and Maritzburg and before that we won three games in a row, coming against Mamelodi Sundowns it’s going to be different ball game and we will make some changes, because playing against brilliant team like Sundowns which have players like Percy Tau, Khama Billiat and Antony Laffor then your side must be ready and prepared..
On our new players it’s very difficult to play them all at once and we play in Lorch which didn’t have bad game and now he understands our system then will try get in others but against Platinum Stars we had forced substitutions due to injuries and that affects our play as team, Mhlongo’s injury is the same knee that got injured last time and Sarr got muscle pull but other than that all players are fit, besides those who came late and as for Gymah (Edwin) not played at Afcon for Ghana, i wasn’t there and am not National team coach to explain why he didn’t play, even Tendai (Ndoro) came twice as sub and when players got selected for National team it’s motivation on its own but failed to play its something beyond my control and it affects my preparations against Sundowns we will make some changes.; Concludes Njenje , Orlando Pirates coach
