Bidvest Wits were too much to handle for Kaizer Chiefs, who they comfortably beat 2 -1 at Milpark Stadium

Orlando Pirates hosted Golden Arrows who they beat 3 -1 with Tendai Ndoro scoring the first hat trick of the season

They two teams met each other twice in this format of the competition with Orlando Pirates winning both encounters 0 -2 and 3 -1 in the 2014/15 season

The two coaches Gavin Hunt and Mushin Ertugral are not strangers to each other when it comes to the PSL

Orlando Pirates on form Strikers Tendai Ndoro will be expected to pick up where he left off against Golden Arrows

Players like Thabo Rakhale, Thabiso Kutumela, Thabo Qalinge and Bernard Morrison gave a good account of themselves against Golden Arrows.

The game against Golden Arrows was Oupa Manyisa first game after his injury against Polokwane City 10 months ago

The Malawian forward Gabadinho Mhango signed a pre-contract with Wits in January, before being released by Bloemfontein Celtic and subsequently going to join Golden Arrows on a short-term basis.

Mhango gave the Kaizer Chiefs defense a terrible team as he was deployed as a winger

Bidvest Wits will be hoping that the likes of Pelembe and Mhango pick where they left off against Kaizer Chiefs

“It’s always difficult against Wits. Gavin is a friend of mine and I have great respect for him as a coach and a human being,” said Ertugral

“We have come a long way together as friends, but it’s never easy to play against him. He has a very organized team; I watched them against Kaizer Chiefs.”

“We have great players, fantastic individual players but we need to find a team. We need to know when we lose the ball what to do. We need to know when to pressurize so there are a lot of elements and a new pattern for the boys. But I must say the way these boys are taking it I enjoy every training session.” he concluded

The game is expected to be exciting and tactical as both coaches are master tacticians, the game could be worn in the middle of the park

Kick-off for Saturday’s clash has been scheduled for 20h15, with tickets available at Ticketpro outlets nationwide. The cost for adults varies between R40 and R80, while tickets for children under the age of 12 are selling at R15 each.
