Mr Panyaza Lesufi amongst the new Swallows Owners

It was a very joyful Sunday for Moroka Swallows supporters,as their return to the top-flight was confirmed by the new purchasers of the team. In attendance was the relatively prominent,Mr Panyaza Lesufi.


The meeting took place at the ‘Easy by Nights’ in Katlehong,commencing at 12:00pm.

Mr Panyaza Lesufi confirmed; “we have bought 99% shares of the team, and 5% of that will be used to compensate the employees with their owed monies.”

He also went further and confirmed that; “the club will be structured into four divisions(the PSL,MDC, ABC Motsepe League and the Academy).

“The ABC Motsepe League team will be renamed as ‘Mighty Birds’.”

Mr Lesufi also concluded as follows; “The club will be relocating from the Dobsonville Stadium, and will used both Ellis Park and Germiston Stadium. Should there be any other changes,we will confirm”.

Mr Leon Prins is apparently in Hospital,we wish him a speedy recovery!

The team is set to open on the 4th of July, and will conduct their training sessions at the Germistion Training Grounds.

The new owners of the club are allegedly looking to secure new offices at the Bedfordview Areas.

The supporters were in full voices and dancing at the Easy Street,in Katlehong.

It remains to be seen which team sold their status to the ‘Dube Birds’,however four names have been put in the picture namely; Chippa United Maritzburg United,Polokwane City and Freestate Stars
