PSL : Mbesuma to walk away with Golden Boot award

The Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Collins Mbesuma, will be crowned the 2015/2016 Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot Award winner at the PSL awards due for this weekend.

The striker manMbesuma-Mpumalanga-Black-Acesaged to score 14 goals all season for his club and help the club to position 4 in the ABSA Premiership league.

The former Kaizer Chiefs , Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates striker is no stranger to collecting the top goals scorer award after winning it in his second season with Kaizer Chiefs.

The prolific striker won the Golden Boot Award ahead of Thobani Mncwango of Polokwane City, Prince Nxumalo of Ajax and Khama Billiat of Mamelodi Sundowns.

He scored on his debut in South Africa’s ABSA Premiership league in 2004.  The former Kaizer Chiefs , Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates striker is no stranger to collecting the top goals scorer award after winning it in his second season with Kaizer Chiefs.

Mbesuma was named PSL Player of The Season in 2005 after scoring a sensational 35 goals in one season with Amakhosi. After such an achievement a move to a more prestigious league looked assured, and indeed it was enough to catch the eye of European clubs.
