Lehlohonolo Majoro joins former Orlando Pirates colleagues of Eric Tinkler and Tshepo Gumede at Cape Town City 

Former AmaMajor and Tinklerzulu, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has joined new Cape Town outfit Cape Town City on a 2 year deal.

The player joined City after being put on the transfer list by Orlando Pirates at the start of July.

Major as the player is known will team up with former coach Eric Tinkler who coached the player at Pirates. The player didn’t see much action under Tinkler last season and the coach preferred Tendai Ndoro and Gabuza over him.

Majoro who joined Pirates in 2013  after falling out with Kaizer Chiefs management and opted for Pirates while the club had initiated a transfer with SuperSport. He managed to score 9 goals for Pirates in 46 appearances.

The lethal striker enjoyed his first season with Pirates as he partnered Kermit Erasmus and scored … Goals in his first season. The player has seen Bafana action and has 2 goals under his belt.

Whether the striker will get game time at his new home, that will be seen in due time as he failed to command a regular place under City coach Eric Tinkler.

The club and coach have expressed their happiness over the signing of Majoro and while Orlando Pirates wished the player good luck on a new journey with his new club.
