Twelve Premier League players are named in total – including Jason Denayer, who is on loan at Galatasaray from Manchester City. Everton’s Romelu Lukakumakes the final selection alongside his younger brother Jordan, who plays for Belgian domestic team Oostende.
Chelsea’s Eden Hazard – who has endured a frustrating season with his club – was named captain in the absence of Manchester City’s Vincent Kompany who remains side-lined by injury.
Meanwhile, injured defender Nicolas Lombaerts was released from the squad with Christian Kabasele called up by coach Marc Wilmots to bolster the weakened defence.
Kevin De Bruyne will add to a strong attacking side for a national team that has not won a major football tournament since the 1920 Olympics.
