Ertugral training with Aces

Ertugral training with Aces

It was great to see Muhsin Ertugral back in the African sun at the Aces training ground this afternoon.

Whilst a bit jetlagged from a long flight which landed mid-morning at OR Tambo, he joined assistant coach Patrick Mabedi, his technical team and players, on the training field this afternoon.

Aces, who been primarily been concentrating on fitness and conditioning, had their 1st bit of game time against Alex United.

Ertugral served as an analyst at the recent FIFA U-20 World Cup, which saw Serbia beat Brazil 2-1 in the Final in Auckland last weekend.

The purists will not look into the results, but Ertugral would of been happy with the two games primarily made up of the new guys in the 1st game and last seasons players in the second.

Aces won both 1-0 through goals from Collins Mbesuma and newly promoted Judas Mosemaedi.

Aces also welcomed Bafana keeper Jackson Mabokgwane for the 1st time after being with the national team. He was given off as he is due back in camp on Sunday for the Mauritius match and Aces depart on a week long camp to Mpumalanga at 9am tomorrow.
