We know he will help us that is why we brought him back.” Added the former Ajax Cape Town mentor. He also applauded Jackson Mabokgwane who played the first half. He said he still have to choose his number. He is happy for the tough competition in the team.
Asked about the players who are not yet back from the Olympics in Brazil, he said he believes that they will be quick in adapting to the team which he is currently building. “We have players like Mobara whom I can’t wait to have him in the midfield teaming up with Oupa. We have Kutumela who is a fantastic young star to have” said Ertugral. He added that his troops are ready for the war come the beginning of the season. He is glad that his defence did not give many chances to the opponent.
He also emphasised that Oupa Manyisa needs game time in order to gain his normal performance since he was out for nine months. “We give him game time, we know he is one of the great players in the country. That is why we are giving him 90 minutes” said the man known who is known for believing in the young players.
The buccaneers are going on camp on Monday. It is believed that players who were part of the under 23 squad will be back on Sunday and they will be joining the team for this camp.
