On form Cape Town City will face Free State Stars in the first semi final of the Telkom Knock Out Cup in Cape Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Cape Town club have hit hit form at the right time and come into the game with a winning formula. They are looking to go past Stars when the two will clash. Former Pirates coach Eric Tinkler who took over after leaving Pirates has been enjoying his stay at the relocated club after the club bought Mpumalanga Black Aces and had a name change to Cape Town City. Former Amazulu, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker Lehlohonolo Majoro seems to have found his scoring boots since joining the club and has scored two goals in two matches and is looking to continue his fine form.

Free State Stars come into the game as underdogs and have nothing to lose but know that cup competition is a different ball game. The team eliminated PSL favorites Bidvest Wits from the prestigious tournament and hope to keep the momentum going on their quest to reach the TKO final. Ea Lla Koto find themselves at the bottom of the ABSA Premiership and hope to turn things around starting this weekend.
