Amakhosi Shot-Stopper weighing options|
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper , Reyaad Pieterse , recently turned down a new contract from the club.
The player expressed his desire to make a move abroad as he wants to some game time. The player has been playing back up since joining Amakhosi. The return of Itumeleng Khune meant that he is now back to third choice keeper for the club. He’s been in post in recent times due to Khune and Khuzwayo being injured, however he stated that he has learned from the two keepers and is willing to fight for his position.
The player is looking for a club where he will get game time and a move overseas is an option for him but has expressed that he is at one of the best clubs in Africa.
A few of South African clubs have shown interest in the keeper as the look to lure the keeper out of Naturena. The like of Supersport, Maritzburg United and Ajax Cape Town are candidates who have shown interest in the keepers services.
It looks set that he has made up his mind about leaving as he has called off talks of a contract extension with the club he signed for in January 2013 upon his return from abroad.
