Amakhosi come into the game sitting at the top of the ABSA Premieship with 13 points from 6 games, registering 4 wins, drawing 1 game and losing 1 game as well. Their loss came in the hands of Bidvest Wits who beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 in the first game of the PSL 2016/2017 match.
