ABC Motsepe Playoffs : Mothibantwa assist Super Eagles to reach NFD
Mothibantwa wealth of knowledge and experience may be key in assisting Super Eagles against the do or die encounter against Buya Msuthu
Super Eagles FC announced in May the inclusion of  Lebohang “Congo” Mothibantwa as assistant coach.
The former BFN Young Tigers, Bloemfontein Celtics, Orlando Pirates, Vasco Da Gama, Golden Arrows and Bafana Bafana player has vast experience and can assist the youngsters with coping with pressure.

He joined the technical team headed by Tshegofatso Mashego and goalkeeper coach Tiisetso Mofokeng.

Mothibantwa has previously worked as part of technical team of several teams such as Garankuwa United and Mbombela United. ‎He also coached Bubchu United and his most recent club Kingston Football Club.

“It’s a very super feeling flying with the Eagles and an honour to be ‎in the nest, I’m very humbled and thank God for granting me this opportunity to be with Super Eagles”. He further mentioned that he’s grateful for the believe the management led by director and coach Mashego showed in him.

Mashego said that they are working very well with Mothibantwa and he has settled well in the team and even players love him. He added that Mothibantwa got vast experience and concluded by saying Lebohang Mothibantwa can be an asset to the team

 Players needed to be focused and mentally ready if they are to get any results out of the game and that’s where the likes of “Congo” came in
